Broad Marsh owners, Homes England, have announced that it is time for vendors to move back into the area as the demolition work continues and more space has been opened up. There are two sites being marketted for occupants: near Drury Walk and Green Heart.
Drury Walk is described as a "mix of covered and internal space and an external courtyard" with "power, drainage, and water supply".
The Green Heart plot is for more temporary structures or vans. No utilities are mentioned, and operators will need to be “self-sufficient for operational purposes”.

Photos from Sunday, 26th April from around Drury Hill (which may well be Drury Walk) and The Green Heart. Both sites for these temporary plots.
Both sites will be available under relatively short leases as they're not intended to be permanent locations. Homes England describes the opportunities as "meanwhile" - for use whilst the rest of the demolition continues and before further building begins.
The owners said: "the site provides a great opportunity for local businesses, creatives and community groups to breathe life back into Broad Marsh and give local people a taste of things to come".
Homes England, a public body, purchased the land from Nottingham City Council in 2020, with plans to build 1,000 homes in the area plus 20,000 square metres of new retail space.
The Briefing hasn't been able to confirm exactly where these advertised plots are. Based on likely locations identified during a site visit, neither appears obviously ready for occupation.
Drury Walk, which is not an official road name, was previously used as the entrance to the old Broadmarch Centre off Middle Pavement. The land behind the hoarding there is uneven, bare earth in some places. Exposed brickwork from the old building shell remains visible, with parts of the structure still appearing mid-demolition.
Both assumed sites for the Green Heart area appear flatter and more level, but with building materials taking up much of the space. The open, public space feels quite cramped between the fencing.
