Yesterday's cold snap is over and we're back to regularly scheduled 8 degrees by lunch time. It has rained over night, but ice is unlikely. No more rain during the day. Very low wind, picking up during the day, but not much to be concerned with.

Have you ever wanted to try rock climbing? Maybe Alex Honnold exploits have you excited for the adrenaline rush, but without a plane ticket to Japan? Depot is where you want to try. Tonight especially if you're of an LGBT persuasion, or just an ally, as there is a social meetup at 7pm. Arrive a big earlier for a chat and grab a coffee from the bar. Entry is £11.50 plus £3.50 if you want to hire shoes.

In property news, are you interested in purchasing a lovely, recently renovated, cancal side building? Well, the University of Nottingham are eager to flog you one at a discounted rate. Many of us might still call in the Inland Revenue Centre building as the uni hasn't has it for all that long. They bought the building in 2021 for £37.5 million, and after £43 million in renovations are selling it now for £14.4m. The university is also home to the School of Economics, who were presumably not consulted. The Nottingham Post has an in-depth article for me details.
