Warp Miniatures opens in Sneinton Market

Chance at a nice ride today; Warp Miniatures sets up to rival Warhammer; Sherwood Library finally was an open date.

Cold weather, but escaping freezing for a while longer: highs of six degrees today. It will be rainy during the day, but not much wind to be fussed about. If you're commuting at reasonable times, you may just miss the rain entirely and have quite a nice cycle ride.

Nottingham may be well known as the heart of the Leadbelt, but Warhammer aren't the only game in town. Warp Miniatures has settled into their new home in Sneinton Market. You can pick up a start set of their flagship game Arc World, play a demo game with its creator, and even start painting at their paint stations. With food available throughout the day in the Markets, you can spend hours there.

In library news, work has finally begun on Sherwood Library. More than 2 years ago the Morning Briefing was told in a council meeting that the newly built library was to remain closed as builders refused to acknowledge the leaking room, amongst other issues, as problems they had been paid to resolve. Finally though, work has commenced with a Spring open date announced.
