Six planets visible in tonight's sky, weather permitting
Yesterday was the best time to see the planetary parade, but tonight should be okay too.

Very cold right now, around 8 degrees, which will climb to 13 degrees for a brief moment before beginning to drop again. There's no rain expected today and the wind will be a bit iffy in the evening, but should be find during the day.

There are still tickets left to see Paul Foot tonight. The Londonist recently described his most recent show as "remarkably uplifting" and comedy guide, Chortle, said, "the audience were laughing so hard they were about to leave their bodies." Paul's performing at the Broadway, with additional acts from Ben Silver and Tom Wrigglesworth. Ticket are just under £20 and can be purchased from the Just The Tonic website.

In astronomical news, tonight is a wonderful night to cross your fingers for clear skies, get a blanket, and sit outside to watch the stars. If you can find a dark spot, like the hill of Colwick Woods, you'll be able to see six planets all in roughly the same direction. Mercury, Venus, Saturn and Jupiter will all be visible with just your eyes, and Uranus and Neptune will be trickier but possible with binoculars. Jupiter is very obvious in the night sky, but to find the others you may find it helpful to get an app like Sky Guide which lets you use your phone to figure out what you're looking at.
