Cold and wet today, but you might miss the worse of the weather: 6 degrees highs, some rain during the evening commute. Low winds generally.

Tonight, at the Vat and Fiddle's Old Cold Store, you can find Bad Movie Night. This time around they're showing Tammy and the T-Rex, a 1994 science fiction, horror, comedy flick. The event starts at 7pm with a pre-recorded interview with the director, Stewart Raffill. Tickets are £7 and available over at seetickets.

In restaurant news, this week the Michelin Guide presented its array of awards for 2025. No Stars were given to Notts places, but Piccalilli got the next best thing: a Bib Gourmand. This is an award given to restaurants who have a more accessible menu, usually a 3 course meal for around £30 per head. Piccalilli have only been open since 2024 but have already made waves. They are situated on Canon Court, upstairs where Kushi-ya used to be.
