Open Birds roles include volunteer Product Taste Tester
Birds Bakery is a good choice for a quick, filling, and cheap lunch.

No gritters, no rain, and above freezing, so no ice! Climbing to 5 degrees, but lows of 2 degrees. Wind isn't much to worry about either.

Jazz Steps are kicking off their season today at their home of Bonnington Theatre with Shez Raja playing their high energy Indo-jazz funk. The show starts at 7:30 and costs £16, if you're still able to nab a ticket. We will likely shout out Jazz Steps more in the next few weeks as they tour Beeston, Worksop, and West Bridgford libraries too.

In bakery news, Birds are looking for applications for an Official Product Taste Tester. Its a volunteer role but you'll presumably get as much Birds goods as you like - sandwiches, bread, and deserts! Applications close on 8 February, so get yours in soon. If you're after a paid role with Birds, you're in luck too: between Coalville, Hucknall, Burton on Trent, and central Notts there are at least seven retail or bakery roles that need filling.
