Tonight, the Nottingham Hoods are playing against the London Cavaliers. Their home ground is the Harvey Hadden Sports Village, where they'll be facing off at 7:30.

The Hoods have been a team since 2009, where they climbed up the British divisions steadily. Last year they were a founding team of the newly structured second-tier league, British Championship Basketball.

The first season of the BCB started in June last year. This new league replaces the NBL Division One. The new professional, tier one league is the SLB, Super League Basketball. Both leagues formed after the financial crash of the old tier one league, the now defunct British Basketball League.

The Hoods are seventh on the table at the moment, with tonight's opponents two spots ahead of them, by just four points.

This evening they should be in good form, high off a tough win last night against the Hemel Storm. It will also be the first game with new signing Abiodun Adedo, a 6'6" forward, returning from Azerbaijan to play in the UK once again.

Tickets are £16 and are available from the Hoods website.
