Crowds gather outside the castle.

The pros have crossed the finish line at the Nottingham 10K in record time today: the men’s first finish was 31:49 by Joe Crutchley, and the first woman finished in 36:21 by Claire Frankland.

The course record was broken by three seconds, and is the fastest in recent years. At the 8KM mark, winner in bib number 867 was quite the distance ahead of the gentleman behind him.

Lead runner at 9:25, behind to estimated 9:21 expected by the volunteer there.

The women’s record is also much faster than last year, where the time was 41:42.

Cipher Medical services told us that they had to deal with just one medical incident today: someone needed a plaster.
