Wet and cold; a nice day on the ice; and a bit of meta news.
Hanging around between 1 and 3 degrees today. During the night, and probably into the morning commute it will have been raining. That hopefully wiped away most of the snow and ice from town. There shouldn't be any more rain or snowing during the day - but I'm half prepared to be wrong on that. The wind is a bit choppy today, so be careful out there.
If you're available at 3pm, you may be interested in getting tickets for the Britannia Cup synchronised ice dance competition at the National Ice Centre. Later on, if you're still eager to be on the ice, you can join the public disco starting at 7pm. You can rent shoes there and enjoy yourself.
In meta-tech news, (and you'll already know this!) you can now get a written version of the Morning Briefing, along with the audio version, at 8am each day over on morningbriefing.org. You can also email me any interesting bits going on in Nottingham or tech news to: shane@morningbriefing.org.
