Chilly weather is finally here, maybe a trip to see Marty Supreme, and is Apple opening up a world of browser engines?

The rather funky EPIC theatre at the Vue cinema. Fortunately, these lights do cool off whilst the film is on.

Today will be the chillest day of winter yet: highs of 3 degrees, but mostly hanging around -1c. It's going to feel a lot less than that, so wrap up warmly when cycling today. There won't be any rain. The wind is not exceptional, but the gusts will get to 28mpg throughout.

Today, I might use one of my free Vue tickets to go and see Marty Supreme. It's also available at the Broadway if you'd rather catch it in an indie cinema. I would love to - but Vitality keep giving me these tickets. I'm not entirely sure what it's about. Something to do with table tennis, I think.

In tech news that's interesting to me specifically as I've recently migrated away from Firefox and am looking for a new home: Apple is allowing independently created browser engines onto the App store for the first time. Bad news is that it will only be possible in Japan. With governments all around the world trying to break up Apple, it's only a matter of time before we get to move away from a Webkit only city here in Nottingham.
