CoppaFeel! and Breast Cancer Now both feature in hockey match today
So-so weather for winter; charity ice hockey today to support breast cancer research; Fossier returns to the ice successfully.
8 degrees most of today. Likely to be raining between midday and 7pm. Low wind throughout. It could be worse!
If there are two things we love here at the Morning Briefing, it's a charity event and a hockey match, so oh boy today is a good day! The Nottingham Knights are hosting a game between a Coppafeel! Team and a Breast Cancer Now Team with names like David Clarke and Marc Levers pitching in to help out. Face off is at 3:30 on the Motorpoint Arena. Get you tickets from the Eventbright page where you can pick which charity to support.
In hockey news, as we are talking about it already... Mitch Fossier made his return to the ice after being off for a number of weeks now. He rejoined the ice on Friday where he scored in a shoot out, leading the Panthers to a 3:4 win against the Glasgow Clan. Made Panthers fans gave a sigh of relief when we saw him in the line up - it's good to have you back, Mitch.
