British ice dancers within touching distance of medal
Between 6-8 degrees all day and night. A small amount of rain around commute home time, but wet all day really. Very little wind today. On Friday, the road temperature will drop below -3 degrees, so heads up for certain icy roads on Friday morning.
Tonight, the Pelican Club over near St Mary's is putting on one of their Ruby Tuesday music nights. It's billed as a relaxing evening of live jazz and blues music. They have food including a fairly large vegetarian menu and cocktails to last you all night.
In Winter Olympics news, Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson have been known to train at the National Ice Centre. They were once even given the honour of borrowing Torvill and Dean's famous Bolero outfit from the display cabinet of the bar at the ice rink. Yesterday though, they were skating at Milano Cortina. The pair received the blessing of both Mels B and C to perform to three Spice Girls tracks, dressed in an iconic British flag dress. In the Rhythm Dance event, they came in fourth place, just one point behind the bronze position. Tomorrow at the Free Dance event, they hope to close that gap and try to get on the podium.
