Bombay Delicatessen has you covered for both savoury and sweet
Still no snow; highly recommended samosa lunch; Russo-Ukraine war nearing 4 years.
Not a very eventful day, weather-wise: a low 4 degrees or so, and a high of 7 degrees around lunch time. At right around then you can expect some rain, but it will be over and done in a flash. Despite the above-zero weather, there may be ice on the roads this morning. Wind gusts are getting up there, so stay careful.
If you're looking for somewhere to eat at lunch or after work today, allow me to recommend Bombay Delicatessen, on Carrington Street, opposite the coach station. Their food is delicious and easy to have in or take out. Once you're done with your samosa or curry, make sure to check in on their sweets. Rarely do you find an Indian restaurant with such a good selection for afters.
In news from Ukraine, we are quickly approaching an unfortunate milestone in the Russo-Ukraine war. The 24th February will see the war going on for four years now. The Nottingham Ukraine Solidarity Campaign are organising a vigil on that day and then a march through the city the following week. Refer to their marketing to find out more about those events. The Morning Briefing is hoping to bring a full story about this soon.
