Ninety local traders are in Old Market Square today, selling food, crafts, vintage clothing, plants, and more. There is also a stage set up for live performances, under cover for when the weather turns.

Ay Up Market has grown from last year, when there were around eighty vendors. So, you may spot some familiar Nottingham indie shops. This time around there will be Bombay Delicatessen, The Bagel Project, Beeston Brownie, and Veggies Nottingham to name just a few food options on the go. Sap Plants, The Watered Garden, Megan Crook Textiles, and Handmade Nottingham are among the non-foodie traders.

The weather is expected to be quite cold and sometimes wet, so there will be a marquee set up with tables to eat and drink at. In there, you'll also find the performance stage with music scheduled throughout today:

10am - DJ Suga Lion
11:30am - Gambino Akuboy
12:30pm - Dance Warriors
1pm - DJ Suga Lion
1:30pm - Sun and Moon
2:30pm - DJ Sunny & Dhol Drummers
3:30pm - V Rocket International
4:30pm - Luke Powell

Returning this year to curate the weekend's stage performances is Rastarella Falade, founder of Cultural Vibrations and Associate Artistic Director at the New Art Exchange. They said their aim this year is to put on "a globally rich celebration of the multicultural richness that represents Nottingham’s fantastic creative scene".

There will also be other street performers to enjoy into on Smithy Row:

11:00am – 11:45am Nottingham Rock Choir
12:00pm - 12:45pm Pop-Up Carnival Selfie Zone
13:00pm - 13:45pm Unite the Scene
14:00pm - 14:45pm Fun Chorus
15:00pm - 15:45pm Drumming Workshops - Milla Hanna
16:00pm - 16:20pm Bollywood Dance Workshops - Sakshi Gohil
17:00pm - 17:20pm Bollywood Dance Workshops - Sakshi Gohil

As well as workshops throughout the day:

10:00am to 12:00pm - Embroidered Easter Egg Decoration
Hosted by Mary Broddle Embroidery

12:30pm to 14:00pm - Harvest Favour Corn Dolly
Hosted by Lu & Jenny from B

14:30pm to 15:30pm - Rubbish Portraits
Hosted by Alix from Alix Barker Creative

The event runs today from 10am until 6pm, and tomorrow from 11am until 5pm. There's no charge to make use of the marquee, so even if you don't want to spend any money, you can still enjoy a free show. Any bus or tram will get you into Market Square. For bike parking, you can make use of the Lace Market or Trinity Square bike parks.
